We are really excited about Holiday Extravaganza 2010 and know that lots of you are too! We have received lots of emails asking when registration begins and when the party is this year. So.. get out your calendars ladies... this is the information you have been waiting for.2010 marks the second year for Holiday Extravaganza and, as promised, it is shaping up to be bigger and badder than our event last year.
If you were not one of the lucky 125 moms to attend last year you are probably wondering...What in the world is Holiday Extravaganza?
Holiday Extravaganza is Chester County Moms.com's Annual Holiday event where we collect new, unopened and unwrapped toys for the Chester County Chapter for Toys for Tots. In exchange for your toy donations you are given raffle tickets for chances to win fabulous prizes. These fabulous prizes are hard to find toys, pricey toys, local business gift certificates, restaurant gift certificates and lots of other goodies. (Example: for every 1 toy that you donate you get X number of raffle tickets)

How much are tickets to Holiday Extravaganza? Admission is free .. your toy donation is your admission. All guests must be registered and have their ticket to attend the event. Keep reading for information on how to register.
Can I purchase extra raffle tickets? No. The toys you bring to donate to Toys for Tots will "buy" you your raffle tickets. You will receive 5 tickets for every toy that you donate. The maximum ticket amount is 50 per guest. You are welcome to bring more than 10 toys, we would love that, Toys for Tots would love it, but the maximum amount of tickets any guest can receive is 50.
Okay.. So, I want to come, how do I get a ticket? Only registered guests may attend this event. Anyone can register. Registration for the event will begin at 8:00PM on Monday, November 29,2010 . Last year the event was at full capacity (125 seats) in just under 3 hours, so if you would like to come to Holiday Extravaganza this year make sure you are online at 8:00PM on Monday, November 29th. This is a limited seating engagement so registration is required. There are 150 seats available this year. Once we reach full capacity we will switch to a waiting list. Last year we pulled 34 people off of the waiting list. So if you end up on the waiting list, there is still hope that you will score a seat for the event. If you want to come to the event we highly recommend that you schedule time to be online Monday November 29th at 8:00PM. We wouldn't want to see you miss out on a super fun event.

What is the date for Holiday Extravaganza? Thursday, December 9th.
What time does the event start? Check in begins promptly at 7:00. Upon arrival you will check in with your registration number an attendant will collect your toy donations and you will receive your tickets.
Where is the event being held? In Chester County!.... The location and time will be included on your ticket.
Can I bring a guest? No. Only the registered guest will be admitted to the event. So if you have a friend visiting from our of town or your husband/mother/neighbor/aunt/grandmother, etc wants to tag along... they must be registered. Please also keep in mind that registering for an out of towner or someone just to keep you company you are snagging a space for a local mom to attend. If you have a bunch of friends attending, you are welcome to sit with your friends. There is no assigned seating. Because this is a limited seating event, we ask that you only register for one guest from your household.

ReplyDeleteThere is no membership for Chester County Moms. We are a free resource website for anyone in the community. And, no you do not have to live in Chester County to attend.
